Choleast

Choleast, a formulation of  Chinese Red Rice Yeast, may lower total cholesterol by 30 points or more in less than eight weeks. Our patients usually take two pills, twice a day. Choleast (red yeast rice powder) is derived from Monascus purpureus WENT, an organism grown on rice. Used for centuries in China, it has become increasing popular in the West.

 

PLEASE NOTE:  You should tell your doctor when you start to supplement with Choleast and she will test your liver enzymes, the same process used when you take statin medications since raised liver enzymes are a rare side effect of Red Rice Yeast usage.
